Payment and Cancellations

Corporate client events

 Definition:

  • Events delivered exclusively to the client’s employees
  • Delivered on premises provided by the client
  • Paid by the client in arrears

 Payment:

  • Payment is due within 28 calendar days of the invoice date.
  • Work Wellness reserves the right to charge interest on any payment received after the due date at the HMRC recommended rate of 8% plus Bank of England base rate prevailing on the date of late payment charge

Cancellation by client:

Client cancellation with:

More than 28 calendar days notice An administration fee of 25% of the agreed price for the event will be invoiced
Up to and including 28 calendar days notice The full agreed price for the event will be invoiced
Substitution of attendees is at the client’s discretion subject to notification to Work Wellness at least 3 working days prior to the date of the event.

Cancellation by Work Wellness:

Where Work Wellness need to cancel an event because of clinician / instructor sickness an alternative event can be diarized.

Public events

Definition:

  • Events available to any delegate meeting the attendance criteria including:
    • Private individuals
    • Corporate clients (e.g., who may have an insufficient number of delegates to justify an exclusive corporate client event)
  • Delivered on premises provided by Work Wellness
  • Paid by the recipient in advance

Payment:

  • Payment in advance is required to secure attendance at the event
  • The closing date for receipt of advance payment is included in the event details and is normally 28 calendar days prior to the date of the event

Discounts:

Discounts are available to corporate clients who pay on the same date for attendance at an event by more than two delegates.

Cancellation by client:

Client cancellation with:
More than 28 calendar days notice Switch the booking to an alternative available date or

Refund minus a £25 administration fee per booking

Up to and including 28 calendar days notice No refund or

Where cancellation does not result in the cancellation of the whole event and where an event is available on an alternative date then wholly at Work Wellness’ discretion the booking may be switched to the alternative event upon payment of a £25 administration fee

Cancellation by Work Wellness:

Where Work Wellness need to cancel an event because of:
  • Insufficient bookings
  • Cancellations by other delegates
  • Clinician / Instructor sickness
The booking may be switched to an alternative available event or Work Wellness will re-imburse a full refund (no administration fee is applied). Work Wellness liability is limited to the amount of the payment. For this reason delegates are encouraged to not to book travel or accommodation more than two weeks prior to any event.

Registration Information:

Registration information, including directions to the event venue, will be sent to the delegate by email at least 7 days prior to the event.  Any delegate not receiving the registration information should contact us on 07795 214 663.
